April Showers Bring May Flowers

With another warm and snowy Colorado April almost in the books we are left wondering what May flowers lay in bloom for both the Covid-19 pandemic and the real estate market. With summer inching closer daily and housing prices soaring higher and higher it seems appropriate that real estate market inventory should increase for those looking to cash in and upgrade on property values.

With 30 years rates still floating around 3% the better option for most is to cash out equity in their appreciating homes to make needed or desired upgrades. Money this cheap is still historic. The tag team of low rates and skyrocketing real estate prices makes for the ideal home improvement environment.

Construction in Colorado is still booming both commercially and in the residential sector. These markets do not seem to be horribly negatively impacted with the current supply chain issue that has resulted in a shortage of adhesive (mainly adhesive for plywood).

The long-term impact of stimulus, supply chain shortages, and inflation on the economy and the housing market are yet to be seen and most of the so-called experts are suggesting these are all transitional factors that will be corrected by the market in 12-18 months. If they are correct the new administration’s tax plan will become the largest single factor on the economy in the coming months with mid-term elections right around the pervertible corner.

Homeowners grab the wheel!! Make sure you do not miss out on this market. Sell for loads of loot to grab a new more desirable home (with the help of the right real estate agent or service of course) or reach out to see how I am able help you manage your equity and mortgage to improve your home and financial life.

Do not be the person five years from now wishing they would have made a move during this market. Be the person who is nearing financial freedom because of the moves they made!!

Cheers
NF
